Introducing the Graffiti Update, which provides the ability to mark up your world with a wide range of graffiti patterns now available as drops and through graffiti box offers.

From now until Oct 10th you can get one ready-to-apply unsealed graffiti pattern just by launching the game. You’ll continue to receive graffiti as drops, and can get more on the Steam Market or by purchasing in-game graffiti boxes.
New CS:GO Merchandise

There are some big additions to the CS:GO merchandise family, Series 2 Pins and the Hyper Beast Gaming Mouse and Mousepad.
PINS
At ESL One Cologne we introduced the Series 2 Genuine Collectible Pins. Those pins are now available through the Valve Store at welovefine. Each package contains a code for a virtual version of the pin to display in-game. Also, these virtual pins are available as offers in-game and on the Steam Community Market.

The ELEAGUE Major – Atlanta, 2017

We’re excited to announce that the next CS:GO Major Championship will be hosted by ELEAGUE.
The ELEAGUE Major will take place from January 22-29, 2017 in Atlanta, with playoffs held at the historic Fox Theatre and the Grand Final simulcast live both on Twitch and TBS.
The ELEAGUE Major will feature the top eight teams (Legends) from the previous Major at ESL One Cologne 2016, who will compete with eight Challengers decided by a LAN qualifier. Legends and Challengers will battle for the title of CS:GO Major Champion, as well as their share of a $1,000,000 prize pool.
The sixteen teams will clash in group stage matches at ELEAGUE Arena within Turner Studios from January 22-25. The event will then turn to Fox Theatre, where the remaining eight teams will meet in a single-elimination group stage from January 27-29.

Today we’re shipping a new accuracy recovery method and new recovery rates for the AK-47, M4A1-S, and M4A4. The goal is to allow players to develop and express their skill using a variety of methods of firing a weapon, by increasing the effectiveness of tapping/bursting relative to that of spraying.
