ESWC 2013

Electronic Sports World Cup 2013 will take place this week at its usual setting in Paris, France with $25,000 up for the taking for the Men’s Tournament and $10,000 for the Women’s Tournament.

The big favorites Sweden NiP and France VeryGames will once again try to fight off teams like Ukraine Astana Dragons, United States compLexity, Denmark Copenhagen Wolves, Sweden fnatic and ten others to take the highest prize of $12,500.

The Counter-Strike community has a long history of creating custom content. Starting today, contributors can generate and submit their own weapon finishes to the CS:GO Workshop. Highly-rated weapon finishes have the best chance of getting included in CS:GO in an official update.

Congratulations to team France VeryGames who triumphed at the SLTV StarSeries VII Finals in Kiev, Ukraine this past weekend after defeating Sweden NiP and Ukraine Astana Dragons for a $7,500 prize.

The next major tournament in the CS:GO world will be RaidCall EMS One Fall 2013 Finals in Germany Cologne, Germany from October 26-27th with the likes of Ukraine VeryGames, Sweden NiP, Denmark Copenhagen Wolves, Ukraine Natus Vincere and Sweden fnatic on the participants list.

SLTV StarSeries VII

A $15,000 event is taking place in Kiev, Ukraine this weekend with four of some of the world’s best teams – http://static.hltv.org//images/flag/ua.gif Astana Dragons, http://static.hltv.org//images/flag/se.gif fnatic, VeryGames and http://static.hltv.org//images/flag/se.gif NiP.

Only three of them remain after two days of action, as fnatic were knocked out due to defeats against Astana Dragons and NiP, while the best matches are yet to come.
